Common Issues During Device Migration:

Data Transfer via iCloud Backup:

  • Issue: After transferring data to your new device via iCloud or another backup method, you may create a new login. This can sometimes result in your PYM collections and extra albums not being properly linked, even if earlier photos seem to appear.

  • Solution: Ensure the app recognizes a data transfer or reinstall via iCloud backup. The app should prompt you to log in with your previous PYM account to correctly link all your data.

New Apple ID Creation:

  • Issue: If you create a new Apple ID while setting up your new device, your previous PYM+ subscription or purchased extras may not be accessible.
