For our users without a PYM+ subscription, photos are only stored locally on your device. To enjoy the benefits of cloud backup and seamless data retrieval, consider upgrading to our premium subscription. Here’s how to sync your app with PYM Cloud and keep your memories secure.
Steps to Sync Your Photos to PYM Cloud
On the iOS App:
1. Sign in to Your PYM Account:
Open the PYM app on your iOS device.
Tap the Settings icon in the bottom menu of the screen.
2. Enable PYM Cloud Sync:
Go to Backup & Restore in the settings menu.
Toggle the Sync to PYM Cloud option to activate cloud backups.
3. Storing New Photos:
From now on, all new photos will be stored both on your device and securely backed up to the PYM Cloud.
4. Restore on a New Device (or after losing your device):
Install the PYM app on your new device.
Log in using the same PYM account credentials.
Navigate to Backup & Restore and tap Sync from PYM Cloud.
Your photos will begin downloading.
Note: Photos not accessed for more than 2 years may take 2-4 hours to recover due to retrieval from deep storage.
