In PYM, you connect with people using a shareable link. Your friend taps the link, sends a request, and you accept it from your Friend list. This keeps things simple, private, and fully in your control.
1. Share your friend link
To let someone send you a friend request:
Open the PYM app.
Go to your Friend list or the section where you see your friends.
Tap the option to share your link (for example via message, email, or any app you prefer).
Send that link to the person you want to connect with.
You can share your link with anyone you’d like to add as a friend.
2. Your friend taps the link and sends a request
When your friend receives the link, they simply:
Tap the link on their phone.
PYM opens (or they’ll be prompted to download it if needed).
They confirm and send you a friend request.
3. You receive a notification
Once they’ve sent the request:
You’ll get a push notification (if enabled) telling you that someone wants to connect.
4. Accept the friend invite in your Friend list
To accept their request:
Open the PYM app.
Go to your Friend list.
Look for a section like “Requests” or “Pending invites” (top left icon0
Find the friend request you want to approve.
Tap Accept (or the equivalent confirmation button).
After you accept:
They are added to your friends in PYM.
Depending on your settings, they may now see the moments or Inner Circle posts you choose to share with friends.
Friend links make it easy to connect, but you always decide who gets in:
You choose who receives your link.
You choose which requests to accept.
If you ever change your mind, you can manage or remove friends later from your Friend list in the app.
