PYM sends a daily reminder at a time tuned to when you usually take photos. If yours aren't arriving, one of the steps below will usually fix it.
1. Check that pym. has notification permission
Go to Settings, scroll down and tap pym., then tap Notifications.
Make sure Allow Notifications is on. Under Alerts, enable all three delivery options: Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners. Also turn on Sounds and Badges.
Haven't been asked for permission yet? PYM requests notification access after you save your first photo, not at install. Open PYM, add a photo, and the permission prompt will appear.
2. Check Focus and notification delivery
Focus modes (Do Not Disturb, Sleep, Personal) can silently block apps. Go to Settings → Focus, tap any active Focus, and add pym. to the allowed apps list.
Also check Notification Delivery inside the pym. notification settings. If it's set to Scheduled Summary, your reminders bundle at the end of the day. Switch to Immediate Delivery.
3. Turn on Background App Refresh
Go to Settings → General → Background App Refresh and make sure pym. is enabled. Without it, some notifications may not arrive while the app is closed.
4. Check your in-app reminder settings
Open PYM, tap your profile icon, then Settings → Notifications. Confirm your Daily Reminder is on and that the time window fits your day.
5. Still nothing?
Restart your iPhone, then open PYM once. If that doesn't help, delete and reinstall pym. — your photos are safe in the cloud, and reinstalling resets the notification registration without touching your memories.
