Troubleshooting Push Notification Issues on Apple Devices

Updated over a week ago

We know how important it is to receive your daily PYM notifications right on time to capture those special moments. If you're experiencing issues with push notifications on your Apple device, don't worry—we're here to help you get back on track!

Steps to Resolve Push Notification Issues:

Check Notification Settings:

  • Go to Settings on your Apple device.

  • Scroll down and select PYM from the list of apps.

  • Tap on Notifications and ensure that Allow Notifications is turned on.

  • Make sure that the Alerts are enabled on the Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners.

Enable Background App Refresh:

  • In Settings, select General.

  • Tap on Background App Refresh and ensure that it’s enabled for PYM. This allows the app to refresh content and send notifications even when not in use.

Check Do Not Disturb Mode:

  • Make sure Do Not Disturb mode is not enabled, as it can silence notifications. You can check this by going to Settings > Do Not Disturb.

Restart Your Device:

  • Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve notification issues. Power off your device, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

Update PYM App:

Ensure you have the latest version of the PYM app installed. Go to the App Store, search for PYM, and check if an update is available.

Reinstall the PYM App:

  • If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the PYM app. This can resolve any underlying issues that might be affecting notifications.

We hope these steps help you restore your push notifications so you never miss a moment with PYM! If you continue to experience issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team—we’re always here to assist you! Happy snapping! 📸
